Hatha Yoga provides full body conditioning and grace, as well as breath rehabilitation. Yoga provides a pleasant feeling during and after practice and increases one's energy, concentration and comfort during the day. It is beneficial to everyone and does not require great flexibility nor is it limited to any age group. Please feel welcome and join us in this most pleasant practice of health and serenity.
Yoga has its origin in Ancient India where the Vedas (the earliest books of knowledge) were recorded. The Vedas contain a highly advanced understanding of the science and the teachings of Yoga (spiritual science). Long hidden through the dark ages the Yogic science has emerged once again to gain popularity worldwide. Hatha Yoga has captured the interest of America. Its practice involves the study of body posture, flexibility, and body balance... A balanced body is a healthy body!
MEDITATION is the practice of relaxation of the body and mind. As body and mind relax the natural attitude of peace is exposed to our conscious mind. Within the experience of peace lies the exploration of soul knowledge and it's relationship with blissful spirit. MEDITATION CLASSES ARE MONDAY MORNINGS 8 AM.
